Il Perugino per tutti: discovering art and nature between Foligno, Assisi and Spello

‘Il Perugino per tutti’ is an itinerary promoted by the Municipalities of Foligno, Assisi and Spello to discover four works by the painter Pietro Vannucci known as Perugino, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of his death. There will be 9 free guided tours by e-bike and shuttle, which will offer participants the opportunity to “get lost” in nature, history and art masterpieces. The guided tour will be marked by visits to: theOratorio della Nunziatella in Foligno, where visitors will admire The Baptism of Christ(about 1513); the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Spello, where Piety with Saint John the Baptist and Saint Mary Magdalene(1521) and Madonna and Child with Saint Jerome and Saint Catherine of Alexandria(1521) are preserved; la Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Assisi, where the fresco depicting a Crucifixion(1486-1487) is preserved. In every city the visitor will also have the opportunity to enjoy interesting initiatives and thematic events.
